We’re starting virtual gardening lessons at Cascadia!
Until we can get back into the garden as a community, the garden teacher, Ms. Nicole is making videos highlighting a different theme and giving a new project each week. For the first lesson, 3rd graders will learn about invertebrates in the soil. They will discover the soil food web, and investigate a particular organism. They will make a model and learn how their organism fits into the food web as a whole. Future lessons will include urban wildlife, pollinators, companion plants, and more!
