Myth-Busting the PTA

PTA is only for Moms. Nope, it’s open to every family member far and wide, current students or graduates, neighbors, businesses, supporters, etc. Join anytime.

Joining the PTA requires you to volunteer. Wrong again. If you want to, great! We’d love to have you. But your support as a member is also enough.

PTA is only a social club. Totally incorrect. PTA is a member-based advocacy association. We build real connection between families and the school. At Cascadia, we value all voices and perspectives. This is a safe space, open to all ideas and, well, how to survive the ups and downs of a school year together! #lifehacks
