Does Cascadia use SignUpGenius? How do I recruit volunteers?
Do you need volunteers for your school activity or event? We are here to help get the word out and manage volunteers. Whether you’re a SignUpGenius newbie or an old hand, you’re covered. The PTA’s centralized SignUpGenius page is the place to go to find Cascadia’s current volunteer needs, and we want your event on there!
- If you’d like the SignUpGenius form created for you, send an email to volunteers@cascadiapta.org with a description of your volunteer needs.
- If you prefer to create your own SignUpGenius for your event, please transfer it to volunteers@cascadiapta.org after it’s been created.
How do I get my event on the PTA calendar and promote my event?
All events can be added to the Cascadia PTA calendar. We list events in the weekly Dragon Digest, and can send emails to families by grade level. Send your event info to us via the Share News form.
I want to help, but I don’t know how events work at Cascadia! Where do I get more information?
Event leaders, room parents and grade-level event planners will be provided with instructions over email once they sign up or a PTA member/event chair will reach out regarding the event with more details. Contact volunteers@cascadiapta.org if you have further questions. They can put you in touch with the right people.
