The upcoming election for Seattle Public Schools’ Board of Directors is crucial to the future of the district’s Advanced Learning programs. There are three competitive races in which all Seattle voters have a say:
- Eric Blumhagen versus Liza Rankin
- Rebeca Muñiz versus Chandra Hampson
- Leslie Harris versus Molly Mitchell
As a nonprofit, the Cascadia PTA does not endorse candidates. However, we surveyed candidates in competitive races to help inform voters, especially parents of students enrolled or to be enrolled in Seattle’s public schools. To date, Eric Blumhagen, Liza Rankin, Chandra Hampson and Rebeca Muñiz have responded to our four-question survey (see response tallies below).
