Come join your classmates for a cozy good time on Friday, January 27th for the first Cascadia Family Movie Night of 2023 for “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile!” are of course welcome! Bring blankets and pillows to cozy up on the gym floor for the movie. Low-backed chairs are welcome *in the back* near the bleachers so as to not block the views of those behind, but bring a towel or blanket so they don’t scuff the floors. The Commons will open at 5:30pm for families that want to bring their dinner to eat there (no food or drink in the gym, please).
Movie starts at 6:15 pm.
Enter the building through the Commons doors. The main entrance will be locked.Note: This is not a drop-off event. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The New Yorker says, “Good cheer and exuberant humor enliven this clever live-action musical adaptation of Bernard Waber’s classic children’s-book series.” Who doesn’t love a good book turned hummable musical?! Common Sense Media notes, “The story depicts a middle schooler who deals with anxiety, and a blended family that’s really close. Younger kids will get a kick out of Lyle’s little adventures, fans of Mendes’ music will enjoy the original songs, and parents will appreciate the messages about teamwork, courage, and honesty.
