Join us for the first Cascadia Family Movie Night of 2020 for “Wall-E”! This heartwarming outer-space odyssey has only grown more timely through the lens of the global climate crisis! But it doesn’t teach with a heavy hand. This well-rounded film is both funny and touching, exciting and thoughtful. (It even has a love story for those who aren’t grossed out by such things and are looking forward to Valentines Day in a few weeks.) Common Sense Media says this one is good for anyone 5+ while still managing to feel like it was made for older kids and adults. That’s truly amazing!!
Come join your classmates for a cozy good time on Friday, January 31st. Siblings are of course welcome! Bring blankets and pillows to cozy up on the gym floor for the movie. Low-backed chairs are welcome *in the back* near the bleachers so as to not block the views of those behind, but bring a towel or blanket so they don’t scuff the floors. The Commons will open at 5:30pm for families that want to bring their dinner to eat there (no food or drink in the gym, please). Movie starts at 6:15 pm.
Enter the building through the Commons doors. The main entrance will be locked.
Note: This is not a drop-off event. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
