It’s day one of our Cascadia Annual Fund! We run this campaign exactly once per year, and it’s our only fundraising event. Please check with your Dragon(s) for red envelopes, which were distributed at school today, for information on making a donation to the PTA Annual Fund. (Note: If a student missed school today, they’ll receive their envelope when they return, and replacement envelopes are available.)
About the PTA Annual Fund
The Cascadia PTA is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting families, teachers and school leadership. During the 2019-20 school year, the PTA will fund programs designed to help our students reach their full social, emotional and academic potential, including:
School counselor * Recess aides * iLab / STEM education * Garden education * Drama program * Instrumental music * Staff appreciation * Scholarship fund * Fall Festival * Science & Engineering Night * Professional development * Social-emotional learning * Curriculum support * And more!
Participate in the Annual Fund by completing and returning the response card by Thursday, October 24. The Cascadia PTA goal is 100% participation – all red envelopes returned, regardless of what is inside.
Students will receive a small gift when they turn in their envelope, and will be entered for a (slightly larger) prize drawing to be held after the campaign ends.
