Middle School Open Houses
Many of our 5th Grade families are thinking about the various public school options. Middle Schools should post their open house information on their website and provide to their feeder elementary schools. This is the information we have from:

Jane Addams – Information posted here. Also Arts Info Night February 10th at 7pm.
Eckstein – Will post information here on Feb 1.
Robert Eagle Staff – Will post information here on Jan 28th.
Open Enrollment
Registration is open now for incoming Kindergarten students as well as students not currently enrolled in Seattle Public Schools (registration information is here ( https://www.seattleschools.org/enroll/ )).
Open enrollment is Feb 1 – Feb 28. Students enrolled at Cascadia are automatically enrolled in the HCC Middle School for their neighborhood. You can see the school your child is currently assigned by logging onto the Source. If you are interested in your child attending a different school than the one they are assigned, you must apply during the open enrollment period.
HCC Identification
Cascadia is expecting a class of incoming first graders, as well as students in other grades. Encourage parents to complete the parent survey and to ensure students are taking MAP and other standardized tests at their neighborhood school as those are part of the evaluation for HCC eligibility. The parent survey will be sent to all families with K-8 students on January 19th, and closes on February 25th.
