Come Weed With Me, The Best Is Yet To Be
Who: Cascadia friends, family, neighbors. Kids welcome! (I bet they’d love to help and/or play on the playground — no supervision provided)
What: pull weeds and spread mulch
When: Saturday, November 16, 9am to 2pm
Where: The school grounds (specifically: the beds in the parking lot, along Wallingford Ave, along 90th. Not focusing on the courtyards or the disaster in the back yet)
Why: to beautify our school and neighborhood, to build community, for the greater good!
Notes:
* We will provide coffee and snacks, gardening tools, mulch, companionship, and guidance.
* Cascadia will host advanced learning testing on Saturday, which means: the parking lot will be crowded, but the building will be open for bathrooms and drinking fountains. Don’t forget that one can park at RESMS or in the neighborhood if necessary.
* Might be rainy. Good thing we’re tough!
