From the LAMP report:
The Cascadia Fall Scholastic Book Fair will be here November 19th-26th. Students will all have a chance to visit the book fair during school hours the week of the 19th AND the book fair will be open in the library during conferences Monday, Nov. 25th and 26th.
All purchases in-person or online will benefit our library so we can buy MORE BOOKS!
EVERY STUDENT WILL LEAVE THE FAIR WITH A BOOK NO MATTER IF THEY HAVE MONEY OR NOT. I will take money from our book fair profits and use generous parent donations to cover any student that forgets money or doesn’t have the means to purchase a book. I want to ensure that there are no barriers for students to access the fair.
I highly recommend setting up an eWallet for students so they don’t need to bring in cash, however cash, credit cards and Apple Pay are also accepted.
- Set up an eWallet for your student here
- Donate to a fund that will help purchase books for students without money (I know it says 5th grade but it will apply for students in all grades)
- Shop online here (Nov. 19-Dec. 2ned)
During conferences, feel free to drop siblings off at the book fair while you attend conferences.
We will enjoy a spring book fair run through independent book store, Phinney Books, in May.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
