Love Licton and Cascadia are partnering together to host an Earth Day Service project on April 4th, 10am-1pm. The purpose of the work will improve tree health, increase sight lines to reduce hideouts, remove invasive ivy and grass, and prepare a new area for UW Capstone students to come in and plant native species.
 
Scope of Work:
  • Mulch below five evergreens at southwest corner of park. Distribute and spread wood chips from pile that will be within 100’ of trees.
  • Collect downed branches and mass in a pile.
  • Girdle ivy on a few trees near the trail (SW corner), pull and pile.
  • Distribute wood chips here if materials and time permit.
  • All work will be south of playground – close but just out of sight.
