After School Clubs:
Hall of Fame, LLC, Orlov Chess, and Pinnacle Explorations Outdoor School provide on site enrichment classes after school starting a few weeks into the school year.
Hall of Fame Classes
Registration for Hall of Fame opens on September 21, 2026 at 9am. Fall quarter classes will run on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday. October 12 — December 16.

Orlov Chess
Orlov Chess will be Monday or Thursday starting October 5th, 2026.

Scholarships
Childcare:
Kids Co. runs the on-site childcare at Cascadia. Questions about after school care should be directed to cascadia@kidscompany.org.
Other after-school childcare options (off site) include:
- FlexSpace by Hall of Fame – picks students up by van from Cascadia
- Emerald City Karate – picks students up by van from Cascadia
- Washington Karate After School – some Cascadia students ride a school bus there
- Boys and Girls Clubs – some Cascadia students ride a school bus there (Ballard, Wallingford, North Beach, and others)
- Illumination Learning Studio – some Cascadia students ride a school bus there
- Northgate Community Center – some Cascadia students ride a school bus there
- Green Lake School Age Care Program (GLSA) – some Cascadia students ride a school bus there and a GLSA staff person picks them up at the bus. Email GLSA directly at info@greenlakechildcare.org to check about openings.
- Jump on Languages at the Phinney Neighborhood Association – some Cascadia students ride a school bus there
What Cascadia parents say about bussing to after-school programs: It can be hard to get answers from the Transportation Department because they can’t share route information for privacy reasons, but generally, bussing should be possible as long as your after school program is in the Cascadia zone (meaning a bus route is nearby) and will take your kid. Call Transportation in August to update your afternoon address. In a last minute bind? If the bus stop exists but you haven’t updated your afternoon address, or you need it some days and not others, you’ll need to fill out a Yellow Card Request to change the bus stop and/or route that your child needs to use.
