Volunteer leaders wanted!

Volunteer in all caps in purple

Update! We’re looking for volunteers for two fall activities, in addition to our list below.

Reflections Art contest: As part of our National PTA membership, our students are able to participate in the Reflections Art contest. This program currently needs a few volunteers to help run the contest within our school. This job will include light involvement through the winter, and a commitment to help judge entries this fall. Volunteers will work with an experienced Chair for this program. If interested, please email membership@cascadiapta.org.

Walk to School Day – Are you interested in celebrating Walk to School day on October 2, or helping with Safe Routes to School beyond a one-day event? Volunteers are needed to lead “walking buses” and to set up and/or staff a greeting table at the school. If you have ongoing interest, committed volunteers are needed to lead safe routes programs at the school year-round. If interested in short- or long-term activities, please email president@cascadiapta.org.

Ready to lead? We’ve got opportunities for you! Visit our SignUpGenius page to see open volunteer positions, including:

Additional opportunities will be posted throughout the school year, especially for all-school events. Teachers also contact student families directly for certain volunteer opportunities, such as chaperoning and classroom assistance. Make sure your volunteer paperwork has been submitted online, or updated if needed!

If you’re new to Cascadia or just want more information about the events and volunteer roles, please contact us! For each role listed above, experienced volunteers are available to mentor and provide ideas and suggestions to the degree you prefer.

Contact Jolie Nivison for more information on programs (programs@cascadiapta.org) and Anita Shteynberg (volunteers@cascadiapta.org) for assistance with volunteer paperwork, SignUpGenius, or other volunteering questions.
