Did you know that as of right now, there will be no incoming 2nd grade class at Cascadia next year? And no third graders the year after that, until there are no more HCC elementary schools in Seattle. When the Board approved this plan, they intended to replace HCC schools with programming in the neighborhood schools. But we all know that hasn’t happened. They are simply eliminating opportunities for all students.
Tell them this is a plan that parents are NOT behind.
Come with us to the next School Board Meeting Feb 12 at 4:15 pm at the John Stanford Center to tell them to stop sunsetting HCC without a replacement.
