Girls on the Run is an afterschool program for girls and nonbinary youth in grades 3-5, that combines life skills with physical movement. GOTR boosts participants’ confidence and social/emotional skills right when they need it most, all while working toward a big goal: a celebratory 5K!
This is not a PTA-sponsored program so it only runs if we can fill all of our volunteer roles in time to open up registration in March. If you are a parent, guardian, or teacher** please consider volunteering!
We are recruiting for the following roles:
- Co-Site Liaison (1 needed): Work with Ariana to coordinate with the GOTR staff. Learn more about the Site Liaison Role.
- Coaches (2-4 needed): Attend a coach training and co-lead practice 2x/week during the 8-week spring season and attend the 5K. Learn more about the Coach role.
- Superstar Supporter (optional): Attend a shorter training and be available to support at least 4 practices and attend the 5K. Learn more about the Superstar Supporter role.
