New this year at Cascadia is the opportunity for parents, grandparents and/or guardians to volunteer in the school to help out an teach a skill or “class” during regular flex time sessions at school. The first rotation of dates are all held on Wednesdays, from 12:30pm to 1:10pm:

The idea to give the children of the school an opportunity to choose their own activity during this time from a wide range of offerings. And as a volunteer if you only want to offer your skillset to a set size of students, or students of a specific grade, that’s perfectly fine. A number of parents expressed interest in this idea last spring and now is the time to step up and volunteer!
