Welcome back to the school year and welcome to Cascadia Elementary School. As we get ready to start the new year on the right foot, we also need some parents to step up and help out on the evening of the “Meet the Teachers” event at Cascadia, on Tuesday, September 1st.
We have a list of some three dozen volunteer slots we’re looking to fill… but don’t fret – helping out means that you too can still join in on the visit. We’re mostly looking for people to help out with simple jobs like setting up, handing out popsicles (yum!), answering questions for new parents, and tidying up afterwards. And remember, since this is happening during a playground playdate before the main event, you can bring your kids and let them play with all of their classmates – so win/win!
