Cascadia’s 2024 Spelling Bee will be held on February 16, 2024, and the deadline to register is December 15, 2023!
The Spelling Bee is open to all students. The first step is to register for the Scripps National Spelling Bee’s online testing platform by visiting https://online-test.spellingbee.com by December 15. Rounds 1 and 2 of competition are through online spelling tests. Once you have registered, your student will be assigned the appropriate grade-level test. The testing window to complete the first round will be January 10-13, 2024, and your student must complete the test before the deadline. These tests can be taken on any device with a web browser, including desktop computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
In Round 3, the top spellers from Round 2 will participate in-person during the school day on February 16, 2024. Our school champion will then move on to represent Cascadia in the King County regional spelling bee program (TBD late March/early April).
