3rd-grade gardeners will be relieved to hear that Ms. Nicole, garden educator extraordinaire, swung by school last week before it closed and rescued all the seedings in the 3rd grade pod! Most of them are now safely at her house, where she will care for them while we’re away from school. Whew!
Looking for a way to keep gardening? Some of the seedlings are ready to be planted and are hanging out in the school garden under a cloche. If any of our gardening families are interested in planting these seedlings in the garden, please let Ms. Nicole know and we can give you instructions and make arrangements. Note: we must still practice responsible social distancing; if multiple families are interested we must work out a one-family-at-a-time arrangement. This might take some headscratching to schedule — we appreciate your patience as we work this out.
