Dear Families,
Cascadia draws students from a wide geographic area. Many of our families have been impacted by the shortage of bus drivers. With the news that the bus shortage may prevent complete restoration of bus service to all SPS schools this school year, I have received several questions about busing service. To help our families understand the status of the bus service to Cascadia, I have invited the Executive Director of Operations to meet with our community.
The goals of the meeting are to help families:
gain a better understanding of how transportation decisions are made
understand the factors impacting route restoration
provide an opportunity to ask broad questions about transportation
The Executive Director will not be able to address individual concerns about specific routes or students.
